Skallberget/Utterberget

In december 2023 Eolus completed and handed over the Swedish onshore wind projects Skallberget/Utterberget, Tjärnäs and Rosenskog to the owner BKW. The projects comprise 19 wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 125 MW.

The projects were sold to BKW in June 2023 and Eolus has managed the construction under a Construction Management Agreement (CMA) on behalf of BKW. The three projects are located in Avesta, Hedemora and Falköping municipalities in price area SE3 in Southern Sweden, where there is a strong need for new electricity production to secure access to renewable energy at reasonable prices for private individuals and businesses. A major global energy company will purchase all the electricity from the wind farms under a Power Purchase Agreement.

Eolus will provide technical, operational, and administrative services for the wind farms on a long-term contract.
