About the Project

In 2023 Eolus finished the Rosenskog wind power park in Falköping Municipality, southeast of Floby. The wind power park consists of 3 turbines from Siemens-Gamesa, with a total height of approximately 200 meters and a rotor diameter of 170 meters. The estimated production from the park is around 55 GWh, which can provide household electricity for 11,000 homes annually.

In 2022, activities including clearing and construction of roads, crane sites, foundations, and internal power grids are being carried out. Siemens-Gamesa installed the wind turbines during the spring and summer of 2023, and the park was completed and handed over to the owner BKW in December 2023.

“We are proud to be able to hand over the projects to BKW on time and within budget. We now look forward to cooperating with BKW also in the operational phase, where Eolus has a strong track record of delivering technical and administrative asset management services”, says Per Witalisson, CEO of Eolus.
