About the Project
The Murtomäki 2 hybrid project is located in the city of Pyhäjärvi in Northern Ostrobothnia. The project is located next to the operational Murtomäki wind park.
The project includes a wind farm with 15 turbines, each with a turbine capacity of 6-10 megawatts (MW) and possibly a solar park.
The wind farm is fully permitted since August 2024 and construction is expected to start during the second half of 2025. Commercial operation is set to 2027.
